Chidorikan opened in 2014 on high ground just a minute's walk from the beach at Tsukihama. All rooms have tatami mat floors and futons, but unusual for budget minshuku inns, each room also includes an en-suite bathroom and a modern Japanese aircon, so guests can control the heating and cooling of their room. The room-with-seafood-dinner package includes large portions of freshly caught local seafood. Chidorikan is an ideal base to explore the quiet Oku-Matsushima area by foot or rental bicycle.
