Fukiage Kogen Campground is an outstanding campground located in the highlands of northern Miyagi. It offers scenic views of the surrounding mountains and unique amenities: a hot spring bathing facility, wooded walking trails, cute goats, and even its own brewpub. There are also hiking trails, a geyser park, and a volcanic ravine visitors can explore, all within a few minutes’ walk from the campground.
Empty-handed campers are welcome! With advance reservations, the campground will supply guests with all the camping gear they desire: tents, sleeping bags, lanterns, and more. Barbecue sets, ingredients included, are also available.
