Maruni Foods, a prominent noodle producer based in Tome City, runs Bunza as a place to showcase their finest noodles and share northern Miyagi food culture. Dishes such as hatto (a dumpling soup) and aburafu-don (fried gluten cutlets served over rice) are truly local specialties that you won't find in other regions. Being managed by a noodle producer, their traditional tenobe udon (hand-stretched udon) and special fried yakisoba come highly recommended and are favorites among locals.
