• Take in the waters at Ichitaro Hot Springs, located just next to Tenshukaku Gardens. The indoor baths have impressive high wooden ceilings and large windows, allowing the daylight stream in. Bathers will feel close to nature even from the indoor bath. There are also two outdoor baths offering views of Mount Osawa, beautiful any time of year but at its most striking when the leaves change color in autumn.

By Akiu・Kawasaki Seibu Liner bus (秋保・川崎　仙台西部ライナー): 35 minutes from Sendai Station.
