  • Kaze no Sawa museum is an ecologically-minded contemporary art museum exhibiting artworks in a wide range of media, from photography and video, to woodworking and site-specific earthworks. The indoor artworks are housed in a traditional 200-year-old residence with a charming authentic thatched roof. Stroll the wooded hill behind the residence to admire the outdoor artworks and the natural surroundings. The museum also hosts a large variety of events, from tap dance performances to lectures on prehistoric Jomon pottery.

The on-site cafe serves natural-yeast baked goods, coffee, tea, and juices.
